ECM launch service delivers 17 satellites to orbit onboard Soyuz launch vehicle

July 14th, 2017 Soyuz-2.1a rocket with a Fregat upper stage launched Kanopus-V-IK Earth observation satellite for Russian Sate Space Corporation Roscosmos (Roscosmos) from Baikonur launch site, Kazakhstan. The primary payload and seventy two secondary payloads of a smallsat cluster were successfully deployed into three different target orbits during one mission.The unique cluster of 72 smallsats was launched by GLAVKOSMOS, – Russian commercial operator of Soyuz-2/Fregat launch system (www.glavkosmos.com).

Launch and deployment of 3 university satellites

19th April 2013

On request of Berlin Institute of Technology, Germany and Dresden Institute of Technology, Germany, ECM launch service carried out the whole technical and organisational work package to launch university 1U CubeSats BeeSat-2, BeeSat-3, SOMP as secondary payloads of the Russian Bion-M1 mission. The launch was performed from Baikonur Cosmodrome on the Soyuz launch vehicle. The satellites were successfully released into their orbits.
