Successful launch: ECM delivers 9 satellites to orbit

ECM Launch Services has successfully delivered a cluster of small satellites into space as a part of the third launch from a new Russian launch site Vostochny (Amur Oblast, Tsiolkovsky, Russia).
The cluster is comprised of 9 small satellites developed by the commercial companies and universities and of the USA and Europe. The satellites have been launched on a Soyuz-2 rocket with a Fregat upper stage which has formed several different orbits for deployment of the satellites.
The ECM smallsat cluster is composed of the following satellites
- 4 Lemur-class 3U CubeSats
- Spire Global Inc, USA
- 4 S-Net satellites
- DLR, Technische Universitaet Berlin, Germany
- D-Star ONE Phoenix - official project website
- German Orbital Systems, Germany / iSky Technology s.r.o., Czech Republic
We have already received a confirmation of a successful separation of all 9 satellites on their target orbit. Also, all our customers have confirmed the first contact with the satellites! The launch of the ECM smallsat cluster has been performed on the 1st of February 2018 as a part of Russian Space State Corporation Roscosmos Earth observation mission Kanopus-V #3,4 in cooperation with the Russian space enterprises.
