ECM Team at The 69th International Astronautical Congress

1st - 5th October 2018

One of our highlights of the year so far was participating in the 2018 Astronautical Congress โ€” a space convention which changes its host and global location annually. This year we were close, only having to travel from Berlin to Bremen โ€” a major space centre within Europe due to its space research and space technology development.

An excellent opportunity to share insights and the latest ideas on the future of space technologies with major players from the industry worldwide, it proved itself to be a standout convention. With the theme of the event being "Involving everyone", it focussed on topics such as space diversity and a global space network. We found this theme onpoint, especially as the possibilities that space offers us become more infinite with every passing day โ€” especially when the future points to global and cross-sector collaboration.

Visitors to our exhibit gained deep insight into our launch services, space-logistics management and mission services strategies while being offered an excellent selection of wines that we heard were the best of the congress. Of course, our highly-regarded Cube-Sat deployment technology was on display too, garnering immense interest from visitors throughout the week. The positive feedback we received was exciting and ensured we were never short on interesting conversations with new and old friends and partners within the space and satellite community.

Overall, we were thrilled with the 2018 Astronautical Congress in Bremen and look forward to presenting ourselves there next year, wherever that may be, with our latest developments.
